"구매 뒤 후회"라는 뜻으로 주로 비싼 물건을 사고 난 뒤에 구매자가 구매를 후회하는 것을 말합니다. 반드시 비싼 물건이 아니어도 필요없는 물건을 충동구매하고 난 뒤에 후회하는 것도 포함되겠지요. Remorse 대신에 regret을 쓰기도 합니다.

 

Credit Card 사용이 일반화된 지금 이런 경우는 더 있을 것 같아서, finance advisor 섹션에 보면, Buyer's remorse를 방지하는 법 등에 대한 조언을 종종 볼 수 있습니다.
